Kate Moss is the New Face of Versace

The new ad campaign pictures for Versace's Spring '09 have just been posted by the lovely Wendy over at Nitrolicious and they are surprisingly gorgeous. Kate Moss and Gisele Bundchen have been tapped to be the famous faces behind the powerhouse's Spring line. Shot by staple Vogue photographer Mario Testino, the campaign features Versace's signature look at the lifestyle of the upwardly mobile, and fashionably fabulous, woman. With blindingly blue skies behind them, the models lounge on a boat, leaning against the clear railings.

The line will capture simple sexiness trumped up for a night out, as evidenced by the gorgeously detailed frocks in basic black-and-white. Accessories and shoes will equally reflect the high life, focusing on golden trimmings and accents.

My favorite dress by far has to be the black heart-embossed dress that Kate Moss is wearing-- this is truly inventive yet relateable and wearable. Moss' presence in this campaign is much stronger, in my opinion. Her beachy hair goes perfectly with the theme of bringing the lifestyles of the rich and famous to the masses, while Gisele comes off as a little too coifed.

Although I could be wrong... thoughts?
